Loveridge Plantation is a quail hunting plantation established by George Love in 1955 and continues to be owned and enjoyed by the Love family. Situated in the rolling Red Hills of northern Florida and the heart of quail country, Loveridge offers premium quail, duck, dove, turkey and deer shooting. Loveridge has developed an award winning kennel, boasting some of the finest hunting dogs in the area. For rest and relaxation after a hunt Loveridge offers a fully staffed four bedroom, eight guest main house, with beautiful vistas looking out over Lake Miccosukee. Loveridges' experienced chef Donna, prepares the exquisite meals daily with Plantation flair and according to guest preferences. Our professional and courteous staff work continuously throughout the year to ensure the experience at Loveridge Plantation will be nothing less than spectacular.
Loveridge consists of over 4,500 acres of pristine natural habitat in the middle of the famed Red Hills area, known for extremely high density of wild quail.
The hunt at Loveridge draws on our award winning kennel of over 35 dogs that are bred and meticulously trained to find and point quail. The hunters can either ride in our comfortable specially outfitted hunting vehicles or choose one of our easy riding horses.
Guests stay in our lodge with sweeping views of Lake Miccosukkee, and are treated to some of the finest cooking in the territory. You can warm up on our private skeet range a short walk out the front door.
Wayne has managed plantations in the Red Hills for over 25 years and is deeply knowledgeable on every aspect of plantation management and quail habitat. Almost as important, Wayne also is a world class barbeque master, and will cook the best ribs, quail and Bradleys sausage you've ever had!
Leslie has been cooking and supervising the creation of delicious Southern Plantation meals at Loveridge for over 20 years. She has even published her favorite recipes in a cookbook "Plantation Cooking at Loveridge".
Cliff has been training and handling some of the best hunting dogs in the Red Hills belt for more 15 years. Cliff has personally curated the Loveridge kennel that consists of over 35 wold class hunting dogs. Cliff has won a number of important field trials including the prestigious Georgia-Florida Field Trials in 2012 with "Tee".
Jordan Brown is Cliff's assistant dog handler and accomplished in his own right. Recently, he placed second in a field trial at Osceola Plantation with "Loveridge Bar."
Marty has been with Loveridge for over 15 years and works the land, getting it just right for hunting. Marty and can handle anything from a big John Deere to a rattlesnake.
Brett is know as the "first line of defense" and handles everything from airport pickups to the heavy machinery required to maintain the Loveridge property.
I do hunt, and I do fish, and I don't apologize to anybody for hunting and fishing.

Our staff provide full transportation to/from any private or public airport nearby. There are regular commercial flights in Tallahassee (TLH) via Atlanta (Delta) or Charlotte (US Air). Its a short 40 minute ride to Loveridge.
Loveridge hosts an abundance of wild game, including Bobwhite quail, dove, turkey, deer and a wide variety of ducks. If you want to go wrestle with wild hogs, you can do that too! Check with our staff to see what is in season when you visit!
We take our food seriously, almost as seriously as we take our jokes. 3 meals are prepared in the southern plantation tradition, with an emphasis on local ingredients, including of course, what you may have shot that morning. Our kitchen staff is overseen by Leslie Shepherd, who literally “wrote the book” on plantation cooking.
